If I

If I

A Poem by laceyjane23
"

This is a poem about leaving others behind, whether it be because of moving, ruined friendships or even death.

"

If I should be gone tomorrow, remember to always smile.

If I should be gone tomorrow, remember it's just for a while.

If I should be gone tomorrow, rememberto always love.

If I should be gone tomorrow, remember I'll be watching from above.

If I should be gone tomorrow, remember not to cry.

If I should be gone tomorrow, remember it's never goodbye.

If I should be gone tomorrow, remember the songs we sing.

If I should be gone tomorrow, Remember the little things.

If I should be gone tomorrow, remember yourself to always be,

but most of all if I should be gone tomorrow.....

Please always remember me.

A beautiful poem with a reminders about what to do when someone is gone. This is striking with such heartfelt emotions. I was reading this with a song in my head to it. I think it would make a lovely song to remind us about loved ones. It has such hope and love woven into it. Very nicely written.
