No. 1 Party Anthem (version 2!!!)

I added meter to one of my earlier poems

Through lashes lined with dark black ink,

the nameless girl's big eyes meet mine.

Her face is covered by her drink,

To me the drink brings out her shine.

She laughs at something someone says,

A little loud, but that's alright,

I'd roll my eyes if it were day,

but it's okay, because it's night.

I think that maybe she's like me,

There's something there that we both share,

I think she might have hopes and dreams,

But in the night I just don't care.

'This is the girl that gets attention.'

I walk away from my reflection.
