A Poem by L.V.
"

a villanelle

"

Revenge: which one does it attempt to please?

Word origin: wasteland beyond the gate

At what point will revenge induce our ease?

It begins with a copy of your keys

The sun gleams, you are in a golden state

Revenge: which one does it attempt to please?

But with the blink of an eye, rivers freeze

Your sun will no longer illuminate

At what point will revenge induce our ease?

You seek the lost, you travel overseas

You find the missing, you disintegrate

Revenge: which one does it attempt to please?

The fire reignites, you cause their wheeze

The fate detonates, you returned too late

At what point will revenge induce our ease?

Your anger becomes a mass of debris

And you did everything but liberate

Revenge: which one does it attempt to please?

At what point will revenge induce our ease?

Wow. I really like this poem!! Use of diction really set of a powerful impact onto me. The rhymes are perfect.
Suggestion, in the beginning maybe you can set it differently. Was a struggle a bit to read

GREAT JOB!!! You seem to totally get the hang of iambic pentameter!
