Elusive Satisfaction

Elusive Satisfaction

A Poem by Bear Girl

I have mountains,
Yet seek hills,
And find grains of sand in return.

Part of something,
Yet not in truth;
Just illusions to my mind.

Grasping for what is in my hand...longing for what's already mine.

Yes, this is the struggle, isn't it. The "grass is always greener"... Dreams and desires can be ellusive illusions indeed. Well written, concise and simple, yet powerful. Well done.
