Where Angels Dwell

Where Angels Dwell

A Poem by Robert E Cano II

Close your eyes and I’ll hold you tight,
Shelter our souls this blesséd night,
Where stars so distant fill your eyes,
Heaven's canvass, of love they write,

The moon rises, holding the skies,
Blanketed in darkness, whose cries
Of woe become silenced to fate,
Amidst the ashes of the wise,

Beyond the fire’s heavenly gait,
Whose incensed power will create
Worlds of beauty beyond our sight,
Where angels dwell and shall await
