The Lilac FairyA Poem by Kym StithPoemThe Lilac Fairy landed, and lingered by the pool She meant to take a swim, that was her special rule And float next to the lilypads resting by the side And ask a friendly seahorse for a welcome ride Thru the grasses and the flowers they would quickly go Thus the pond much better they would get to know And later they would rest, and their thirst they would quench While they went for shelter out of the raindrops cooling drench As they marveled at the beauty of the gardens all around And promised to meet each other again later nearby town © 2016 Kym StithAuthor's Note
