Tadpole Tom and Seahorse Sid , A Story

Tadpole Tom and Seahorse Sid are on a little island .The sun shines brightly there all day . 

They are going to build a sundial . They look for two rocks .One for the top and one

for the dial .They watch the sun move across the sky . Each  position later than the

one before .

 Shadows are cast upon the dial . They make their measurements and place the dial on the

top . The sun dial is now ready to tell the time . It"s a helpful addition to the isle . Each

hour looks beautiful on the circular instrument .

The movement of time seems magical, the days and weeks memorable .

I can imagine this accompanied with pictures, and think it's a wonderful idea. The wee ones would be both educated and entertained by it.
