If we didn't

If we didn't

A Poem by Kymberley Dawn

If we didn't have school

everyone would be stupid

If we didn't have nurses or doctors

everyone would be dead

Nobody really understands

how lucky they are

Some people don't have families

some people have no one that cares about them

I see people in fancy cars

with all kind of electronics

And they complain about having it bad

Hun you don't have it bad

Having it bad is

never having a family to love

Never getting to eat

starving to death

There's people out there

that would kill to have a family

I'm one of those people

I have no family

I have no one that cares about me

The people I'm forced to call my "parents"

don't give a rats a*s about me

I'm just there so they can get more money from their taxes

I never have a birthday

I never get told Happy Birthday

Sometimes I wish I would die

on my birthday

so maybe someone would remember that day

So honey while your saying

that you have it bad

with your family and your huge parties

Remember me

the person that has none of that

and would love to have it

Just feel it once

to see how it feels

to be wanted
