I'm a southern girl

I'm a southern girl

A Poem by Kymberley Dawn

I come from a place

where country is more than

just a statement

it's a way of life

In my eyes

it's the only way to live

I'd rather be southern

than a Yankee anyway

I wear boots

with my jeans

and my jeans are full of rips and tears

I love to say

yes ma'am

and hell yeah

I listen to Conway and Gentry

Now my man

is a countryman

born in the south

raised of southern charm

I drive no car

I have a '79 Ford truck

I go mud riding

and raise a little hell

I burn bridges

from shore to shore

I'll wear camo

any day

I'm a southern girl

Born and raised

deep south Alabama

runs through my veins

And if you don't like that

then y'all can kiss

My Country A*s
