You and me forever

You and me forever

A Poem by Kymberley Dawn

I'm looking at the clock

watching the hands move slowly

only 8 more hours

till I get to see you

I need to see your smile

I need to see your face

I need to feel your lips

I need to hold your hand

Your hands are rough

but I don't care

it's where mine belong

right there with yours

It's 8 hours later

I'm waiting for you to show up

I look at my phone

Oh! there's a text from you

As I read the text

I start to cry

you said we're not working out

this is goodbye

so I sit alone

and cry all night

I hear my phone

but don't go check it

it keeps going off

I finally get up

it's from you...

you tell me to look outside

I look out the window

and I see you

I go outside

you have a rose

you're sitting on the back of your truck

I climb on there with you

and you say I'm sorry

I didn't want a girlfriend

I start to cry

but then you wipe my tears

and you say you want a wife

you get on one knee

with a ring in your hand

you look at me and say

"will you marry me"

I start crying tears of joy

I hug you tight

and say of course!<3

it's you and me forever more<3
