Alone

forgotten by the world

alone in the shadows

 

drowning in my  tears

high on my misery

 

hiding away

nowhere in sight

 

invisible to everyone around

invisible to everything

 

in the dark

alone and depressed

 

no one cares

no one listens

 

falling down deeper

into this hole

 

reaching for help

but there's nobody there

 

wanting someone to care

wanting to be seen

 

wishing I had someone who cared

will someone show me they care?
