My love

My love

A Story by Kyle Romano

Do you believe in an eternity? Can you believe in the impossible? Or is the impossible that drives us to belivieve in an eternity of uncertainty, defined and confined only by the walls of our own imaginations; an eternity defined and confined only by the walls of my own imagination? We are driven forward by lives that are not our own and made stronger through the countless obstacles that they help us obliterate so that we may see beyond our own perspectives and be strong enough to understand different perception. What does it matter any way? It doesn’t. Or does it? To me. But to you? Probably not; however, is that reason enough to deam this: unimportant? Maybe to you, but I see it in a different way. I see it as a means to gain a firmer grip on reality, a reality that most take for granted and are yet too unintelligent to be even aware of its presence. An eternity of nothing… which is why it is an eternity of something… because an eternity of nothing stands for an eternity of something. And out of that something we find meaning, no matter how diluted and juvenile it may seem to you, although it is literally everything to me. Which is how nothing is transformed into not only something, but everything. An everything that is open to everybody, but is rejected because it is believed to exist for only a single person.

It is possible to find hope in nothing.

You just have to be willing to dig deep enough to find it.
