"world"

this poem was when i was very troubled. I felt like there was no hope and i was so down. Its been over a year since i have written this poem and to see where i am right now compared to where i was i love it!, i have nothing to complain about anymore... so

"WORLD"
 

If i leave this world would you even care?
Knowing that you were never there.
would you cry if I left today.
would your life be the same.
If you found out i was dead.
What would you be thinking in your head?
Would you be sad and felt with regret.
Or would you turn around and forget.
Could you keep living knowing you never cared.
You should be blaming yourself... you were never there......

Very heartfelt indeed. There is a strong sense of resentment and anger in this poem. The speaker doesn't make it clear who that person might be, but we can feel the rawness nonetheless. It often makes me wonder if the people we hold so much anger for understand what we feel, but yet, don't try and mend the wounds that have opened up too far. We find ourselves unable to leave the past. Unable to move forward because the past is too unresolved.
