Tattered and Torn

this was a poem i wrote about my ex it was a break up poem after we had such a long relationship that was soo good but towards the end everything got messed up badly .....

I tried to fix you and this is what i get.
A empty soul, a empty heart, a love full of regret.
I try to keep you happy. I try to make you smile.
I gave you my love and heart which i thought you would have it for awhile.
I thought i was your lover, I thought you were my boo.
Were just two players in this game called love and we dont have the slightest clue.
Im sitting here wondering what i did wrong.
I wish we could get through this but your long gone.
I thought you were my angel sent from above.
But your the demon and the killer of love.
I put my life, my heart in your hands.
I guess my love, careness, didn't meet your demands.
I hope you find a person that did more than i could.
Im sorry i couldnt help. You know that i would.
Im leaving this poem with a question.
DID YOU KNOW WE ALMOST MADE IT TO MONTH ELEVEN! :(

thank you soo much yes yes it was a tough time writing it but the heart is a sensitive thing and i just wrote down how i saw it :)
