Hearts Pain

Hearts Pain

A Poem by Kyle Braughton
"

A free-style poem of a broken heart

"
As Life goes on
my heart refuses to follow
my mind seems withdrawn
from the trials of tomorrow
thoughts cloud my vision
pain clouded thoughts
trying for this pain's excision
all efforts led to naught
of all things I'm unworthy of
the greatest of these must be love

A main point of life is to work to get your heart broken and to wait to get it repaired. That's how I see it. We all have to work through the bad people that don't deserve us or break our hearts to get to the ones that respect us and give us the world when we don't even ask for it. That's what love is.
