After losing his memories, Rune was transported to a kingdom where he struggled to know his true identity. By living on a farm, he will uncover the truth about his past.
It
was the year of 1109 when a mysterious young man suddenly appeared at the heart
of the town of Alkea, inside the Kingdom of Canos. The young man was suffering
from an amnesia by the time the doctors were treating his injuries and
investigating his condition. The incident was reported immediately to the royal
family of the Canos Kingdom. Some town folks are suspecting the young man as an
enemy since the Land of Alvaris, where the Canos Kingdom was erected, was in a
war at that time.
After the young man recovered from his injuries, and
since he has no memories of his past, the royal kingdom gave him a place to
live. Though it was not for free, because he would work for the town of Alkea
as a farmer. The town of Alkea was the center of all farming chores and
livestock keeping, since it was known for its abundant and fertile land.
Because Alkea was an outskirt and in the farthest reaches of the kingdom, royal
knights guarded its gates and walls.
After the young man moved to his new home, he met
his first neighbor, Serena. Serena is a cheerful and adventurous girl. She
helped the young man with the basic farming chores, though every farmer who
worked for the town was assigned to different tasks. Serena and the young man
went along well until some mysteries were about to unfold as the young man
remembered his name.
All names, places, and times of events are fictitious. These are all products of my imaginations.

Okay, I really like this, but it's definitely leaving me with a few questions. I'll put them here although I see that there's another chapter so I don't know if they're answered there:
Why was it reported to the royal family? I mean, I get that amnesia and that whole thing can be pretty rare, I mean especially in 1109 or something. Did they have monarchies in 1109? This is leading me down a spiral
Was the town rumor (about him being a spy) just some random thing that someone made up because I'm genuinely curious--
This is probably just me but I'm mixing up if Alkea is in the center of Canos or like the outskirts
Okay, I know that this is the prologue but these are mostly questions that I hope are answered in the next chapter or following chapters so I'm not going to rate this one yet

Hey, thank you for your review! This is very much appreciated, really. No one has paid attention to .. read moreHey, thank you for your review! This is very much appreciated, really. No one has paid attention to this story since I began writing it. I didn't expect that this site really care for newbie writers, so thank you very much.
And for your questions:
1. Yes, they had monarchies during that time. And so many backstories will be told later in the following chapters.
2. That was just a random rumor since the land where their kingdom was erected was in a war at that time.
3. Yeah, the town of Alkea can be considered as an outskirt.
Again, thank you very much!
