My Army and Me

My Army and Me

A Poem by kyam
"

DID

"
It's so noisy in my mind
I wouldn't want to be unkind
Who are you that has the floor
I opened up and shut the door
It's so noisy you see
Is this really me?
I'm a little girl
I'm Marilyn without a world
Here comes Gretchen to take the stand
Here comes Sylvia with her man
I can't stop switching you see
Which one is really me?
There are so many and a crowd
How can I ever be proud
Protectors, cryers, everything you see
But blended they are all apart of me
Put me together as one I plead
Do this and set me free
Too many facets to know
How to make me whole

About
I have just recently started writing and am a mere novice. I enjoy short stories and poems. I've had an immense amount of pain in my life and I would say that's my greatest source of writing to heal.. more..
