What I love about your Valentine poem is that it's not all slick & polished & sure-sounding. Even tho the love being expressed is indisputable, there's still this note of uncertainty thru-out. It almost feels like the narrator is quite nervous or a little bit untrusting or downright afraid to take this leap. What makes this feel so real is the way it conveys our common vulnerability, even when an awesome love is staring us in the face, still feeling uncertain & hopeful & teetering on the edge. Nice unique feel to a much-written-about topic.
