My Best Christmas Present Would Be

For YOU

God has Blessed me

To have seen

The joys that life can give

All of the years I have lived

It would do my heart good I know

This year to help do so

For others that can't get what they need

In the cold you see

To give blankets to them

Maybe stay warm and then

Do my heart good to know I tried

To help and oblige

In God's will somehow

A little something for now

And the best Christmas present I can give me

Is to know when I leave

That I have helped someone that day

In a special way

To bring comfort for awhile

And perhaps a smile

And to spread Christmas cheer

To some real Dears

That's the best thing I see

To give to me
