These people without

This I have no doubt

They are lacking in food

But they are so good

Just falling on hard times

Not doing no crimes

I wanted to help bad

I felt it was so sad

So I bought lots of stuff

So they wouldn't have it so rough

They had their family here

They had lots of cheer

Just to have them near

To have them be here

It did my heart so good

I knew that it would

I knew that I could

I knew that I should

Be there for them

To know that when

God want it to be

Just to see
