Judging

Judging

A Poem by kyam
"

don't just think of yours

"
Before judging someone think about what can make them say what they're saying
Before judging music think about why someone would be playing the music they're playing
maybe their feeling lonesome or happy who knows why?
don't be so quick to put your words on them, look to God in the Sky

Before saying someones a negative comment or name
What if they felt like you were the same
let's don't do this to fellow man
let's do good and take a better stand

Why knock down your fellow man
why hit him as hard as you can
give him a helping hand
that's God's plan

Yes! If we only had the wisdom to behave so...

Liked the poem.

People tend to jump to conclusions with little evidence. Usually in a negative way. Sort of reflects their inner soul.

I think the message of the poem is a great one. The idea of being nonjudgmental is beautiful. The flow of the poem was a problem for me. It's important to pay attention to the amount of syllables you use when writing poetry that rhymes. It was better in the middle stanzas though. Thanks for sharing though. It's a great, positive message.
