Memorial

Memorial

A Poem by kyam
"

For my daughter's anniversary

"
You are so loved my dear it's undeniable
We love you more and more everyday still
You are the purpose of my being still amazing
I wouldn't have it at will

You made me who I am
like I made you whom you were
I will always take the plead
that you were better than me

Only because I put my heart and my soul
into you for the best in your world
I gave you everything that I have in me
but you left enough to carry on

I don't want to sing a sad song
I will get along
Your memorial I wrote
choked me at the throat

I still cry
I won't lie
Be happy Baby Girl
Up in your World
I Love You Mommy

I have just recently started writing and am a mere novice. I enjoy short stories and poems. I've had an immense amount of pain in my life and I would say that's my greatest source of writing to heal.. more..
