I lost someone so precious

Where is my heart

are we really apart

no way I must be dreaming, of course

this can't be tell me with great force

My heart wouldn't leave my body like this

something must be way amiss

how can I determine what is the cause

it's a mystery like Santa Claus

Help me I'm dying inside

I can't breathe or hide

no matter what I feel

this is too unreal

don't tell me again she's gone

I don't think I can get along

let go of me and turn away

I'll deal with this another day

She wouldn't leave me stranded like this

this would not be her wish

how can this be true

she wouldn't leave me blue

she must have to go real quick

to think of it makes me sick

how could she leave me behind

she knows I would not be fine

come back beautiful for your mom

you left and set off this bomb

don't go I beg of you

don't leave me I want to go with you

OMG !! this poem is so emotionally powerful and it breaks my heart to see you in such a pain .
As a reader I think the rhyme scheme and all your words clearly depict exactly what you feel which is incomplete without someone you lost and was very precious to you .

Thank you for your generous review. Yes my heart is smashed into a gazillion pieces as I hang on by a thread of existence. My daughter (love of my life) was murdered Oct 1st.2014 and I have yet to overcome the least amount of it. As the tears fall as I am writing I am barely able to see, please forgive me for my burden.
