He told me his name

He told me his name

A Poem by kyam
"

This man had been conversing and out of the blue told me his name

"
having fun and enjoying the view
feelings all over like a child at the zoo

hung up on every word that he said
he didn't know he was all in my head

funny how love finds you and you don't have to look
how your heart takes over and makes it's own book

how you gush when you talk and you play
and you're thinking, I hope he stays

then it seems like the best time ever
and you don't want it to end NEVER

but it's up to him how he feels
and your stomach starts to reel

do I dare ask him I say
no let's wait another day

a sing-song simple rhyme... and it works. As a comment - there were times I felt that way ...and the silence you live with when you could have reached but didn't.
