Richard and Charlie

They fell in love forever

The day Richard laid eyes on Charlie he was a goner

he knew his heart was no longer his

Charlie saw Richard and knew she'd never be the same

Love at first sight if not stronger

He was so handsome and his voice was so fine

his eyes never left hers because she was so beautiful

She couldn't help but blush the way he looked at her

she was so happy and treated him so kind

They got together and a couple they became

where you saw one the other one wasn't far

they were so in love it was plain to see

holding hands always and kissing no refrain

wasn't long before a baby girl came added to their delight

he was so happy, and he was so proud and in love

she was a great mom and she was her heart

their future was looking so good and so bright

But then one day as he was driving along

thinking about the two of them

wondering what they were doing about now

singing to his favorite song

He lost control was the last thing he knew

the ambulance came and took him away

and someone else in that accident too

Charlie was called and told the love of her life was gone

She didn't believe it and was in shock for days to come

How could it be that Richard and I will be no more

Oh yes we will be in Heaven together someday, he's my world

I love you Richard I can't say goodbye

Please, God can you tell me why?

Love can end as suddenly as it begins.
Always and forever...
...leave no stone unturned...
...and no "I love you" left unsaid.
Unfortunately, all love ends badly.
We can just keep moving forward and hope to love again.
