Is that you?

Is that you?

A Poem by kyam
"

The spirit of my daughter

"
As usual we meet in the privacy of my tub
where I can truly concentrate and no one is around
It's not like I conjure you up or anything
I never know when you're presence will appear
it's so far in between and you've told me why that is
I've accepted that gracefully and it's with no fear
you never stay very long but you have your reason
it is because you are watching over Serenity
and I completely understand that she comes first
you have given me guidance in my time of need
even though I can't tell you what, when or how
I love you more today still than yesterday and not as much as tomorrow
that will always be true, do you see
of course you can see everything and now
I will join you someday and I can't wait
I will try to be happy and live life
and stay in the best state
of mind I can be in you see
my clarity really depends on Thee
Please never stop coming to see me
I love you so much and miss you too
you make me so happy and my heart is stronger
all because of you
wait a minute, honey is that you?
Mama

A beautiful poem about death and loss, but about the art of living with that loss. Thanks for sharing such a touching tribute to a most precious part of the family. Have a great day.
