Butterfly Effect

Butterfly Effect

A Poem by Keelia

With the grace of a monarch
Her heart
Flutters

In her blue eyes
Reflected

A tiny flame flickers

She watches
In a silent trance
As her whispers
Make the fire dance

A thin wisp of white smoke
Metamorphoses to gray
And the deadly tango sways
Across a secret stage

Dark smoke devours the sun
And the world
Diminishes

Silently
She suffocates
Alone in the darkness
