The Loss of a Sister

The Loss of a Sister

A Poem by Karter Vaugn

How can you stab the back that you've had for years
You've replaced our friendship with boys and beers
Im a fall back when all your other plans fall through
Im just a crutch you use whenever you need to
The second I walk in its all about you
your exciting nights, and the men you wanna do
never once you ask me how I am, and even when you do it's clear you dont give a damn
Im no longer cool enough to hang out with, I guess I just cramp your style
Sorry I have so many responsibilities and only party once and a while
In highschool we saved each other from the "populars", now who's gonna save me from you
My best friend is turning into a "mean girl" and she hasn't the slightest clue.
I wish that she'd come back to me, I miss her and I need her
Have fun with your cool new group of friends, cause your quickly loosing a sister.
