Love me with your eyes closed

Love me with your eyes closed

A Poem by Karter Vaugn

If I werent such a convinience Do you think you'd still be here

Would you still tell me that you love me, without the help of a case of beer

If my clothes werent designer brands and I didnt work out or tan

Would you have given even given me the time of day, would you still wanna be my man

...

Baby open your heart and close your eyes, I want you to see who I really am

I wanna tell you all about myself and feel like you actually give a dam

They say love is blind and now I know exactly what that means

Cause even though Im not a perfect 10 I wanna be the woman of your dreams

I dont want to feel like I have to act perfect for you I want to feel stripped down till my soul is exposed

Dont love me with your body or words Baby love me with your eyes closed

Hearing that Im hot is nice and all But somtimes I need to hear more

I wanna feel gorgeous I want you to think that Im beautiful I wanna see your jaw drop down to the floor

Somtimes when I look at you I wonder how the hell you ever chose me

I just need some reassurance that with me is where you truly want to be

Baby open your heart and close your eyes, I want you to see who I really am

I wanna tell you all about myself and feel like you actually give a dam

They say love is blind and now I know exactly what that means

Cause even though Im not a perfect 10 I wanna be the woman of your dreams

I dont want to feel like I have to act perfect for you I want to feel stripped down till my soul is exposed

Dont love me with your body or words, Baby love me with your eyes closed.
