The Old LemurA Poem by KushalA metaphorical acrostic poem.
The old lemur abnegates to espy the dream that cometh,
Hiding cyclopean disquietude under its hysterical shrivels. Ecchymosed spot of the jungle, it now lives in ignorant oblivion, Lacerated off a sobriquet of a leonine echelon. Embraced once by appraisal, now by indifference, Marauded by his very own, it lies recumbent against recognition, Unperturbed by their lackadaisical behavior. Recalcitrance is its favorite past time. Recrudescence and reconnoiter is its crowning desideratum. Ebullience has still wrapped its remarkable history. Sagacity has been sidetracked by slipping memory. Equinox arrives, and equinox departs, as Malaise infuses into its plenary chassis. Belonoid disappointment pricks it every minute. Likewise, it’s other species, are all but same. Eudaimonia succumbs when it hawks at survival. 'Sauve Qui Peut!' It is infinite dejection. Umbrageous prodigy keeps lurking at fading tour de force, as Stigma diminishes to nothing, and it ceases to exist. © 2012 KushalAuthor's Note
