I NEED A SPACE

i need a  space,

for serenity,

to envision possibilities,

of life and its certainties,

i need a space,

to dream,

i wander and wonder,

to scream?

no, to ponder,

i need a space,

to explore,

this subliminal indoctrination,

i deplore,

mental incaseration,

i abhor,

i need a space,

to be me,

to be what i am,

for now i am,

sadly what i am not

i need a space,

deep inside of me,

i need a space,

in the inner-most recesses of my being,

in supplication i prayeth to thee,

to show me the space,

that little often unoticed place,

that holds all the meanings,

If this is a first write, it is very good. I think all creative people, more than most, need a physical place and a place in the soul, where they can just be. Then the creative juices can flow, without the interruptions of people, noise, etc. Excellent write.
In the third stanza the word is spelled, "incarceration". :)

This is awesome. I like the flow, and the concept. Space is always good, unless given too much. Perhaps capitalize the I's? Besides that very intriguing poem :)
