MISSING YOU

YOUR PRESENCE I ALWAYS FELT, SO CLOSE, SO NEAR, NO MATTER HOW FAR,

DAYS I COULD SPEND WITHOUT HAVING TO SEE YOU,

BUT TO BELIEVE YOU'RE AWAY IS UNBEARABLE,

I COULD'NT REACH YOU WHEN I WANTED TO,

I COULD'NT SEE YOU  WHEN I NEEDED TO,

COULD'NT HEAR YOU, NO MATTER HOW HARD I TRIED TO,

STRONG I HAVE TO BE UNTILL YOU RETURN,

FOR MY REFLEX I COULD'NT ALTER,

NOTHING MATTERS BUT YOU,

NEVER HAVE I MISSED YOU SO...,

JUST A DAY AND ITS LIKE FOREVER.....WHY?

I WISH I KNEW I WOULD HAVE WORRIED LESS.

hmm... the piece is quite amusing. However; Many Punctuation errors. For example the ellipses go (...) not (....)
and they're not followed by commas. Some editing and the piece would be very good.

But the work has potential, doubtlessly.

Now it's my turn to say WOW!! It's as though you tapped into my past thoughts, emotions, experiences and put my thoughts upon the page!! I sometimes wonder if when I'm thinking of a touchstone, feeling love for them from my heart; if they are suddenly overwhelmed with thought and feelings for me at that moment? A few times in the past we've felt one another across long distances and one of us would make a phone call just to hear the other's voice say "were you just thinking of me while holding out your hand hoping I'd grasp it to pull you to me for a hug?" I swear, it's happened to me a few times... I'll get the feeling "they" are thinking of me and when I call sure enough, they were hoping I'd do just that, call. Sometimes I'd be told in a letter "were you thinking of me at so and so time?" and sure enough they'd call a few days later after receiving a letter that I was writing when they had the feeling I wanted to hug them and talk to them the whole night through. Untapped possibilities within the human mind and heart. "WISH I KNEW"!! A fine write indeed!! Sallie Bear

I guess that is how you know how much you care about that person. A very well written poem and the emotions come up and hit the reader. The feelings are tangible and the pain. Your last line brings a sense of hope and mystery. Nicely written!
