YOU DISLIKE GOOD ART,

(for weak is thy heart and so is your conscience)

 

YOU IGORE POETIC EXPRESSIONS,

(for inflexible is thy imagination)

 

YOU CRITICIZE LITERATURE WORKS,

(for indecipherable they appear to your thoughts)

 

WHAT DO YOU SAY TO CRITICS WITH PHILISTINE ATTITUDE?

(artists of the age past will perhaps say "may the wrath of thy lord befall on thou")

 

AND IN THE 21st CENTURY POETS LIKE KURRUPTED WILL NO DOUBT SAY

"f**K you" (raising my middle finger)

Great poem. This one made me laugh at the end. That's what I say to--to those who dislike art and writing and try to shove their notions down my throat! haha They are the ones missing out! Pitty the fools.
Wonderful thoughts and very well constructed! I liked the whole "Philistine" thing very much.
