the bright star

the bright star

A Poem by kurrupted

As the bright star twinkled in the moonless sky,

Magnificent like a diamond, it took my breathe away,

In fascination I wondered how it was suspended,

But as the day began to break,

The beauty I held onto and cherished began to fade away,

When the day completely broke my dear star was nowhere to be found,

Now…in anticipation I patiently wait for the night to snatch the day of its position,

Not because I want to see the stars,

But because I can see that bright one.

The stars hold so much fascination for me. I wonder if they look different to you where you are . . .

Gorgeously described poetry here Kurrupted! Imagery that Tai can twinkle to, the one thing about those brightest stars though, is that they allegedly burn out the fastest! Very romantic read, smiling more...Tai
