ALONE

ALONE

A Poem by kurohana

Sounds of footsteps rumbled
As I walk down the hallway.
Keys giggling as I unlocked the door.
Cold, dark and empty is what welcomed me.
Suddenly, the cold embrace me as it whispers,
"I'll be your company for a while."
A voice so dark and full of malice.
I sat and stare at the empty ceiling,
Emotions swirling fast like a tornado.
Walls starting to crumble as my body shake.
Tears fell and I cried hard releasing it all out.

You can really feel the emotion in this poem. It feels...turbulent, and relatable.
