My phone on hand,

Waiting for your messages,

Eager for us to talk.

Days, weeks and months passed,

Thousands of miles between us.

Seconds, minutes, hours,

Time ticking as I continue to yearn for you.

 Hearing your voice gives me courage to hold on.

Reading your messages gives me excitement.
