"

“Did you really want to die?" "No one commits suicide because they want to die." "Then why do they do it?" "Because they want to stop the pain.” ― Tiffanie DeBartolo, How to Kill a Rock Star

"

The birds were rising

On a gust of air

I smiled

And drowned in my despair

But I felt no struggle

And the breeze took my trouble

Death wasn’t right

But he was fair

My bags were packed

Heavier than an unbroken heart

This life was unruly

Like chess played with darts

So I moved to my head

Unpacked on my bed

But my brain was in the way

So I killed it

I agree on the line..like chess played with darts is so perfect..
I got grief over lost one.
Got home..an dun himself in.

Loved this..pure unique and power in brevity.

L ove abd wishes for a much healthier mind "trip"

I LOVE this, I have re-read it several times and added it to my favourites. Such and interesting and curious poem, I cannot tell if it's about escaping the madness of life into death or a demise of the mind. Thank you for this X

I really enjoyed this. My favorite line was "like chess played with darts". It made me pause and think about it.
