Don't Come Back!

I remember all the moments,
That we spent together and laughed and enjoyed.
Also that day flashes in front of my eyes,
When we both didn’t exchange the good byes,
And made that day the ‘last day together’ of our lives.

I still marvel where it all went wrong
When everything was going so right.
We’ve now become just like
A blazing day and a dusky night,
Which can ne’er clasp each other tight.

You kept me in darkest of the days
And killed me in thousands of ways.
I could also see love and care in your eyes
But what about those hundreds of lies
That you said to me at all points of time.

Getting attached to you was a mistake
But then I didn’t agnize, you could be so fake.
As I started feeling for you,
My expectations became higher with time
But you broke each of that in line.

With the blink of an eye
You left me and ended it all.
However racking it would be,
I’ve to let go and move on.
As that’s the sole way to grow over and on.

I loved you and will love you more
You taught me lessons of life and made me strong.
I still miss you and want you back,
But let’s keep our ways part.
Don’t touch me, I’m scared of falling apart
For once more, don’t listen to me and don’t come back.
