Perhaps this is breaking free of the writer's block you said you had a while back? We always want to hear what you have to say. Muzzles are best saved for the ignorant.

Haha Well I don't write many senryus, but when I do, they bring many layers with them...the writer's block is one of those layers...it makes me smile knowing that I have the friends and the support that I do here :)

I have done that on a few occasions and read later and realized my heart snuck its way in there and added a message that I hadn't intended mentally.. but was there staring me in the face.. love those writes... you are more than welcome sir:)

Haha I think my subconscious has been leaking a little as of late...I don't write too many senryus, but they write themselves sometimes ;)

never wrote one.. don't know the rules, but this makes me want to learn.. and try my hand at it... good job again...

The syllable count is 5-7-5 :) The same as a haiku, but I think a senryu is more wry or matter-of-fact, not as philosophical...I honestly don't know the fundamentals of them either, and never even heard of them till I saw others writing them...that seems to be vibe that comes from them though haha
