Beautiful and strong images here dear brother, your poetry itself is the spectrum, I love the title of your poem, also. (Strong).
You contradiction in your second stanza says a lot, it gives me the idea, you're not happy in the chosen moment ... perhaps consciously, perhaps unconsciously ... (sleepwalking).
You imagine yourself slowly deeper into your imagination and dream world,
I find the irony and awareness somehow very wonderful as you paint it here.
You give us a glimpse into your thought process. (very interesting).
I am curious about those nicknames though ;) ...
Wonderfully done! ((HUGS))

It is easier for me to choose the unhappy moments as there are so many more of those to choose from. My circumstances just don't allow me to be happy all the time, try as I may to fight off that reality. Sometimes the dream world doesn't even do it for me as I run into a lot of nightmares when I'm there. So that pretty much leaves me with my imagination, which can go either way depending on what kind of day I'm having.
The nicknames were my attempt to associate an emotion with each colour. It was kind of a take on Snow White's dwarfs, who were all names after their most obvious emotions haha
Thank you as always dear Eli, not just for reading but for supporting and understanding. You know it means the world. Wishing you a happy Sunday, or whatever day you happen to see this haha :) (((HUGS)))

As your words do me, love... take good care of yourself Bro... in my thoughts, through all times x
Agigosop, well that's a hellova nick name :) I like it though, and oddly enough I relate to this poem to almost a scary extreme, excellent work Kublakhan, I thought this your most commanding and impressive stanza in this one:
Having a nickname
means you've commanded
conscious acknowledgement
and got away with it
If you manipulate
cleverly enough
it will flourish to respect

Quoting Pat Benatar, love is a battlefield, so is life...and those fooking impostor rainbows don't help when you're in that mindset.....this is quite eloquent in it's sadness but you do that with such courage and elegance always my sweet friend. I have to disagree with all your name calling....except for passionate, not one writes like this without such significant passion. xo

Life is a battle, every day a new challenge , mastering the mind an endless struggle. Nicknames and colours great idea. Love your take on this. Lovely write.

Thanks so much my friend...I'm glad this one resonated so deeply with you.
A kaleidoscope of colors of the human psyche giving a nickname would seem to give these colors or words more power I like Freeverse myself very much enjoyed this

You are very welcome yes I did enjoy it also enjoy rhyming poems too reading was my pleasure
For some reason, while reading you, I felt like playing Pink Floyd's Dark side of the moon. So many emotions fragmented by color and space. Loved the imagery you created. Thought-provoking and endearing, thank you so much for sharing.

It wasn't playing as I wrote this one, though it's hard to imagine it not being an inspiration to this piece. I'm so glad you were able to tap into that feeling...thank you Muse.
...interesting.... really really interesting. The way you describe things here is addicting. And I'm not usually that interested in free-verse works. The last stanza was a perfect way to end it. Well done.

This reminds me a little of some of the time that I have spent on my therapist's couch...lol Revaltions are made in this one, my friend; deep, direct, metaphorical revalations that spread through me like warm coffee, from throat to fingertips. You've colored my mind with these words and the connections that you have made in the images. Expertly written, my friend. Well done...felt this one.

I did indeed go deep for this one...it was just that time again. Thanks so much, and I'm happy to see you again. I missed your presence very much, for your writing as well as the things mentioned above.
The range of emotions....much like the seven dwarfs....we must acknowledge them just as we do the colors of the rainbow. We are bombarded with stimuli every day and they do effect us...whether we give them cutesy nicknames or not. Such a strong piece of writing here. Emotive and wise. Lydi**

Eventually you find yourself doing the things I speak of here. I actually did think about the names for a while, trying to match each colour with one word that I associate with it.
