I put this together in ten minutes. I don't like posting things I put together in ten minutes, but you know how it is as a writer...there are some things that just have to be said.
Props go out to Frieda for a subtle suggestion that made me like the poem more than I initially did ;) Mind you, "like" is a relative word there...

Deep sigh here, although I"ve read it already, it's still affecting, not to mention your genius in slapping it together, but the effect from the standpoint of grief. We share this similar pain, and I found the title to make sense in some strange comforting way, 'logic' is there any when it comes to this pain and suffering, only within the rituals and sacrifices we make getting to the point to make it possible to get to that next day, sometimes that next minute in time. You know I 'felt' this one my dear friend. xo

The title was the first one that sprang to mind when I started thinking about it, and I do think it's sympathetic to the way you've described it. In times like these, we have no choice but to put all our eggs into the basket of tomorrow, and just hope it brings better tidings. I'm sorry you had to relate to this piece naturally, but I'm satisfied in knowing you felt it, as it was really for you to begin with. Thank you Frieda...xo

I've said it before, but I hope you're thinking happy thoughts my dear friend...xo
Ten minutes, ten hours or ten days...when the words come out as beautifully and as deep as they have here, ten seconds might seem like an eternity. Very cool my friend. This piece, sad it its own way and a bright light of things to come, because that pond of wax can easily be heated and formed with a new wick in the center and relit, revealing all that waits.

I love the spin that you have put on it my friend...I think it's what I was going for after all was said and done. You know as well as anyone how personal a piece this is, and I'm just glad that I was able to speak to you on such a level with it. Thanks for everything Jack :)
We effortlessly celebrate our joys and our comforts but it is harder to celebrate and be thankful for our hardships and grief. A great message delivered here, excellently, in a few lines.

I suppose we all ask at some point in our lives why we have to die...I can only say that it's to make life meaningful, and precious. So glad that I was able to speak to you with this piece, thank you Divya.

You are welcome! Your poetry has a very different & unique touch. The message is awesome.
You always discount yourself, my friend... This is a great example of how a true talent can throw something together in ten minutes and have it actually strike a chord with the audience. There is beautiful tragedy in this one, and I want to reach out my virtual hand to you as I read this one...I can relate to the emotions and feelings. You remind me so much of myself...

But I'm sure you've penned at least a few poems in the past that felt like they came to you almost too quickly. You never quite know if your message is clear, even to yourself. I think we remind ourselves a lot of each other :) I can feel your virtual hand, and it is comforting. Thank you my dear friend for everything, the reading, relating, and perhaps more than anything, the support and encouragement to keep going.
Yes. Let us offer up our joys, and our sorrows, to the God Who loves us... It's easy to worship when everything is going well. It's a bit harder when we are hurt. But, as we are told, the Lord giveth, and the Lord taketh away. Blessed be the Name of the Lord!
Good on Frieda for encouraging this piece...

I think perhaps if we open ourselves to the learning our griefs can in fact be an offering. Very nicely done.
