Steveroo, you put my dictionary to use! I had to look up what the title meant, never in my life have I seen or herd of that word. I can't even pronounce it. I sound like a weirdo when I try to say it, my brother and gran started laughing and me. ;-P
Anyhoo, this is a great write. Curiosity killed the cat, eh? Even although I think some things should be left unsaid.... A great write, Steveroo!

I like how the introverted side of you had a souled out arm wrestling match with the writer side of you in this piece ...and guess who won? the Writer!...total in awe of your talent! I am have this same problem, you expressed, but and least with your B.A. your educated enough to get your intent out in clear collective poetry ...I really like the truth in your conglomerate reflecting self...great piece

The degree is sort of an illusion...I fried a multitude of brain cells on the way to getting it. I overachieved really. The expression comes more from the depression. I should remember that rhyme, it might come in handy some time haha Thanks again mojo^^

I'm the opposite. (I think...I'm with the peanut gallery on this one, nofa king clue what you're getting at xD) But I was thinking, I am way better on paper than I am speaking. I'm not inarticulate as much as I say the eff word a lot xD Even when I shouldn't xD But that has no bearing on your lovely piece. Confusing as it may be. Sometimes you have to leave it open to interpretation. ;-)

I have no idea what you intended the message of this to be, but I read it as someone who is trying to make a change. That it's so much easier to stay silent, not listen to others, live in denial of the accused problem... but there's enough curiosity to rouse the individual into trying for this supposed solution that they understand the structure of, but have not yet embraced.
That's probably totally off. But that aside, I love the complexity in this, and yet it's structure is so simple. It's very moving and I think almost anyone can find something to relate to in it.
Thank you for sharing.

"The warning of a paper roadblock"..."a barricade of lips"..."Curiosity the engine"...
Here I see a finger pressed to the lips, and someone not wanting to read the truth. Not likely where you are coming from here, but more to do with where I am. A picture-painting-10-lines, though. Xo.

But curiosity, though killed the cat, is what makes us move forward. May it be in writing or in life. Well done, my friend.

An interesting piece in terms of concept...I am right there on the shoulders of understanding, though I am completely inside the "feeling".
So much easier to erect
a barricade of lips
than to heed the warning
of a paper roadblock -- these lines really struck me the deepest in this one...they gave me something to relate to, and I do...
Curiousity is the engine that never seems to run out of steam, isn't it? Even when we know there are things that would be better left unsaid, unresearched, unwritten, our curious natures tend to get the better of us. I like this idea in this particular piece. Well done, as always.

My first book is out! Any comments that anyone may have to offer regarding my work would be deeply appreciated, as I'm yet to get a review.
