REVELATION ANGEL

If you hear endearment in the plea
leave the echoed sigh of sympathy
and come with your libretto lungs
and lips of red zephyr absolution
to purify the black coughs of cumulus
evaporating the enclosure
of my satin-threaded fetters

A failed emblem of security
in solitary journeys

Come and lay your mortal coil
of seraphic incarnation
next to my imprisoned vessel
of corrupted humanness
Slow my palpitating hourglass
of ashen peace-of-mind
with organic visitations of
your marble maze shrines
Here I can placate my warped
direction with the porcelain decor
of your serene skin

Angel

Wrap your light around my being
like the sun around an icicle
then release me long enough
to euphemise the darkness in me
from de-light to silhouette enlightenment

Hear my plea
muffled by annulled identity
Be the angel
hiding in my boiled
satin threads
and reveal me

In their pit of sand... They dance for your Soul, to the roaring of the waves, the crashing crescendo
Flaring the energy of Passion, of Life. The images rise and you smile in the mist of red and orange hues

Holy Angels Benji, whatever gets you through the night, very impressive my friend. Look deep inside and rescue me. I love that last stanza to pieces. 'Hiding in boiled satin threads' seriously, how do you come up with this stuff? So very cool my friend. This comes at me from all directions, the main one being up, as I stare to the heavens in wait, hoping for a shift in the cloud mass, a ray of hope to break through the endless wall of charcoal featherings and touch me as I lie here dreaming of another day. Love is here, woven through your verses, calling out loud in a voice that is firm but passionate. This was very cool Steve, deep and I liked it.
