A painless day An extreme haircut A graphic pierce Immaculate sunblock greasing up the impact of night's thud from the morning free fall Stares of admiration open-ended for the lack of notice or acknowledgement but a painless day of numbed moods and nil to lose in loss of mind
Introvert, huh? I wouldn't have guessed that ;) You know, I have this odd feeling that you and I are probably a lot alike in the "real world". I always relate to your writes on a strange, emotional level; sort of like there is a hampster running around in my head as I read your words--and I mean that in a good way.

A interesting theme you've conveyed here. It's a abstractly unique ode as to what goes on inside the mind of a introvert. Great work. A clever & witty write. :)
This kind of tells my day, old, cranky and "full of life", great poem in a crazy, cold world of today...great job

I've always been shy but extremely social if that makes sense. Of course no one believes that but its true...quite a contradiction. Great poem... ;-)

Maybe old, but with something new to say none-the-less. I particularly appreciate the last four lines. I've just recently experienced that sort of day, and for once in my life was actually able to appreciate it in a very real, lasting, substantial way without as much as a smidgeon of shame or guilt. Glad to have seen this piece from you. I enjoy reading the older works sometimes too. It is interesting to see how far we've come and grown.

I recall my introvert days - your description of them being "painless" and "numb" is apt. All that was inside never quite fitting in with all that was going on outside... Very thoughtful and vivid write.

Haha Well Steve on paper and Steve in person are two different people, extremely different ;P
But New to us....:)
A very poignant piece sweet pea!
When we become entrapped our minds become at first a mystery, then a place of new revelations, new creations, spinning into contemplative pieces of puzzles falling into place, rounding Solutions as the path before us becomes a state of clarity...
Sometimes, it is when we must that we become introverted, call it a Spiritual imposed need to search what we must until our strengths are realized renewed and insightful. A journey we must ALL undergo.... Some more than others... I fall into the "MORE" category.....lol
This piece, inducing thoughts that run on as this Sayer is driven by your words and my mind creates the voice that speaks.

I get the feeling most people would say the other but I don't really know...we still have to take that journey you speak of, and I sympathize with the "more" factor these days just as you do haha My journey is becoming an expedition and I wish I could turn around but I can't...sending all my love and best wishes, keep fighting the good fight :) xo
