When the wind-threaded shawl of gust slid a cool caress of winter over my reluctant flannel I succumbed to the positive parameters of grooves in our goose-bumped skin
Like the King Of Hearts for a tart a rubber mat called for a needle with a queenly cue to flick a pair of frantic fingers over nubs of melodies gate-folded in designer transparencies
My cold toes swayed in a tangle-up of blue chiffon and the night thumbed a ride on a chariot of flame to sear the white satin flora that was left to dance shadowless
Somewhere in the cloud of stitches scenery discovered stereo
When the wind-threaded
shawl of gust
slid a cool caress of winter
over my reluctant flannel
I succumbed to the positive
parameters of grooves
in our goose-bumped skin
Why fight love, silly. What an amazing piece and I love the stanza above. Very erotic but not blatant. This is hard to do. Great write, my friend.

Setting the Beatles aside (although I loved them to the bones), I sensed longing throughout the poem. It's not that 'deep longing' but a longing which that one immediately feels, almost unnoticeably during colder times or the abrupt change of season. A feeling closer to nostalgia if that makes any sense. Sensuality if not sexuality is made apparent but is not directly implied as always have been and might forever be:)

Those were the days, Kube! The veracity of vynyl - and chiffon! You have woven an evocative vision here. I imagine a picnic on an early spring sunshiny day with the wind belying the sun, freezing your nuts off, playing a portable record player and jiving to warm yourselves up. A nice elaborate weave. P.
