Jagger had to turn his head until the darkness went
leading me to wonder if the muse of music hell was heaven-sent
from the lips of angels were the words I pleaded for in ink
well I should have turned my head not fritter wondering which one was pink

Author's Note

I scribbled out this verse a couple of years ago thinking nothing of it, but with the Stones recently celebrating their 50th anniversary, I figured what the heck, I might as well post it...there's a reference to another band in there as well.

WOW that would be sweet...I have a couple of their concert vids and I turn all the lights out when I watch them ;P The best show I ever saw though was Kiss...there are no words to describe their awesomeness in concert :)

I remember seeing KISS with my aunt in 1979...I was 9 years old...I had no clue I was witnessing something epic...I just knew I liked the show. Oh, and many years later, I saw Ace Frehley open for Alice Cooper...good times.
