REDUCE, REUSE, REPRODUCEA Poem by kublakhan2701 06 02 - 07 14 11
I.
Nature could be nicknamed Arthur with those adjective fingernails happy to evolve in imperviable pockets of default's destiny Nature is no friend of poetry or warfare Even every handshake and finger passion clasp is a Cold War if all aging flesh is like a bomb with its cyclonic cages of chemicals and moving parts Even electricity II. Environments are the disentanglement of outside Waters chaperone their children of chance over infinite motion and conscientious wharfs on human borders Grounds hold generous deadlines for the final hand-down on little blasphemers slapping their mumbled assault on the proper evolution In the cords of evolution's stretches are the stubborn compromises of the grounds and waters and the ideal afterlife abode for the ones who will not disappoint and grow to rebel III. Openness is scenery to us not a hole for the mining Not in the least are we worried of you questioning the motive or even the logic of our mass rapings of your children for we know you are far too hard at work in your non-profit sweat shops embroidering clown suits and blindfolds with an aim to win ours over like your own A shame our generation inherits this runoff of tainted flesh on our working vacation from environmental evolution gumming up our senses and numbing our mutual reminders of how much fun it is to reproduce © 2012 kublakhan27 |
