Hope and Love

 

 

Because of that terrible time our life is now better then ever!

 

 

The bars held me as the pain stabbed through my heart

The open sore healing then once more being broken

I feel not only trapped but that I was being drowned under water every second of every minute

Watching my life pass through my eyes feeling powerless and numb

My life, like this, for almost 3 straight years

Hell washed over all light and happiness and left a cloudy storm in its trail

The color washing out of my face and the light washing out of my eyes

Life just became steps without meaning just sacrifice

Throughout my drowning I had a partner

Stabbed harder and harder then even me

Together we bared the pain though we fell deeper and deeper with each breathe

Going down holding each other tighter and tighter throughout each fall, never letting go

Every time we came up we got pushed down once more

Feeling as though we could not fall any deeper

Each time hitting a new level of sand 

We truly could not hold on any longer

About to fully slip into nothingness

We found a light at the end of the terribly cold miserable sea

And swam and swam until we found the source

Lifted out by God and our Angels we were guided safely to our shore

Never to walk the oceans alone

Always guided always loved

Though we truly thought we weren't going to make it

It was such a little, but strong thing that brought us back

Our Hope and Love for each other was what had kept us together and alive even through our toughest time

Because of that time we beared together we grew stronger and our bond grew tighter

Though I never thought I could possibly say this
