World of Grief

World of Grief

A Poem by Krista

Lost in a world of grief,
in a world where happiness has long gone.
I am lost in this place,
a place I no longer want to stay.
A place where no person wants to live,
nor do they belong in this world.
A place where only grief may live.
Where I do belong for now,
in this world of grief.
A place I may not leave,
atleast not for some time.
So for now I shall stay,
stay and live in grief.

Hi there and let me say you are on to a winner with this poem, i love the genre and i totally agree with your prognosis things have never looked so bleak as they must have done towards the end of world war 2.
I think many young people feel that their lives are passing them by and every day we are becoming desentisized and manipulated by the hideous media and government prolonging wars in far away countries nobody knows much about or seems to care about.
Well done i liked this piece melancholy fills the room from where i see so much gloom.
