Falling

Falling

A Poem by Krista

Scattered scars
mind and body both
Have been shattered and broken
Broken into a million pieces.

Can try and piece me back together
Yet this body is fragile
Tired and broken
Just wanting to end the good fight.

Continuously fighting for someone else
But never herself
In the end
It's just too much
Too hard.

A battle well fought just too lose
As the minds tired as can be
Body's not far behind it
A wall once held in place
Is slowly falling apart.

As the wall falls
Memories slip through
that were not meant to be remembered.
As the memories slip through
the cracks grow bigger and bigger.

Until the person can't fight anymore
And neither can the body
Exhausted and worn
Returning to where began
Where pain lives and blood runs free.
